The pictures are incredible! I have been watching the weather videos on MSNBC... it is heart breaking. Some just purchased homes and lost it. Some just built a home and lost it. Others, lost it all. It is just so sad...

I know in some of the cases, people didn't even have enough time to pack up their home and take most of it with them. Further down South, some have been doing just that. They aren't sure how bad the flooding will be in their area, but they aren't taking chances. I am glad for them.

How I wish all of the residents being flooded out to save New Oleans could afford to do that to save their homes. I can not imagine the manhours, thousands even tens of thousands of sandbags it took to build each of those levees.
