I used it for coasters and fsl only done on the foam turned out neat!!carolyn

I've used redwork designs on foam sheets for coasters. I don't think anything denser would stitch without cutting through the foam.

i use foam for a lot of ITH projects instead of timtex.

I know what ITH means but what is timtex and what type of projects? Frames? Still learning. Thank you. Betty

Timtex is a very dense type of stabilizer. It's texture is a little like a very thick felt. You can use it to stitch paper dolls or anything you want to be really stiff. I like it for towel toppers.It doesn't ravel when cut and stays stiff even after washing. Hope this helps.
