There is additional damage to the mid section of the state. Over 600,000 of us were out of power. The EF5 tore out the grid. It is now operational in a sense, as less than 500 are still out of power. It is fragile, as we have been advised to use power frugally.

I live 1/2 mile from the path of the tornados and I saw it. It was hard to see it and know it what was happening. I lost power for several days and we are o.k., I am a teacher and 3 of my students lost their home and 1 of my friends died.

Glad you are not hurt. You were closer than I was, but we watched it too. So sad to see what it did in this area. There were 35 killed by the tornados in our county.

I am glad that you are both fine. I am so sorry that your friend perished in this disaster.

I wonder if there has been enough assistance for those that lost so much in this disaster...

Not really but it's so much that is so hard to help everyone, churches and other organizations are doing a great job to try to comfort people at this time. Thanks for all the prayers.
