I have the Babylock Ellageo, it comes with all 4 hoops, cuts your threads, has it's own bobbin winder separate from the thread and threads the needle, plus many more features, has a great warranty to if you get the package. Just love mine. Good luck!

I have the innovis 4000d. It's a great machine as are all the other innovis grade machine. Since you already have a brother you understand the brother way of doing things. Go by your dealer and give them a try. You may like it. I have been very happy with mine.

I have the Designer SE, and have it in for upgrade right now. I have never sewn embroidery with anything but the Vikings, so can not compare. They are pricy, but I think worth the extra from what I have seen. It uses USB. I also have the 4D software package, and am learning that. They often have specials that offer good purchace price with a lot of freebies - I think there is one going on now. Hope you have a good time shopping.

I've got the Viking Designer I USB and just love it, sews like a dream as well as embroidery, it came with 3 hoops, 4x4, 6x9 and the mega. I use it every day for hours and hours without a problem. I stated the embroidery faze with the Husqvarna 950D and loved it but was limited by the built in stitches. So I upgraded and have got over 300 built in stitchs as well as the unlimited amount of hooped designs. They have classes going all the time for the basic operation as well as smaller 'learning to do' classes. I'm taking one in a week for embroidering on towels. Anyway love my machine and am sure you'll love what you get. Just check em out first and settle on your price range and you'll live happily ever after......

anne, I have a Janome 350E - embroidery only. A truly beautiful machine. I love that it is a sturdy machine - no vibrating off the table!!! It is quiet, smooth, hard-working and reliable. I've had mine almost 18-months, and it hasn't given me any trouble at all. Sometimes I run it full-blast for days at a time, and it has never once *complained*, haha. It comes with 2 hoops, and there are 2 more optional hoops that, in my opinion, are worth buying. It is a very economical machine. I would suggest that you visit your Janome dealer, and ask as many questions as you can think of - and some more! Then take one for a *test drive*. You'll be surprised, it behaves like a more expensive machine. Look around and take your time choosing, don't let them rush you, if you want more than one test-drive - it's your right to do that. Have fun choosing because only you know what you want and need from your machine, also price comes into it too, hugs and a flower sweetie.

Hi..I have a JANOME 10001 and find it a dream to use..and the software friendly also...The new 11000 is extraordinary and does the larger hoop than mine...Also some of my friends have kept their current machine and purchased the Janome Embroidery only machine (also user friendly and uses lge hoop and mega hoop)as an addition rather than the all purpose more expensive machine so that you have a machine that you an do ordinary sewing while the embroidery is going on...You dont say where you are from but it is important to have a really good LOCAL Janome agent and backup..Dianne..PS I have had Janome machines since 1974 which is still going I might add and have had no problems .. :-)

You may want to visit the link at the top called "Reviews". Several people have written comments there about various machines.

Hi

I have had a Brother Innovis 4000D for about a year and cannot fault it especially the needle threader - a boon.

Also the thread cutter and start and finish.

I have the softwarre PE Design V6 which I still have not got around to using it all.

I say go for it!

I must confess my ignorance, I don't know anything about the 750D brother. I have a 730E Bernina and I love it. I have had many Berninas over the years so I am partial to that brand. I suggest you go to different dealers and compare features that you are interested in. By all means, buy a machine that the dealer offers servicing and free lessons. That is what I love about Bernina dealers.

The service and classes would be a big plus. Most Viking stores do the same thing.
