One time we arrived at a favorite restaurant in the middle of the afternoon just in time for the desserts to be coming out of the oven. We each had a piece of their caramel pecan cheesecake - right from the oven. mmmmmm. There has never been any dessert, any confection, any chocolate, or ice cream - anything, that has ever, ever tasted as wonderful as that since then....... just the memory is driving me crazy!

Sorry to be back on this so late -
I am the only sweet tooth in my family so my desserts have to be made in mini small portions - I get some or my kicks here:
http://www.tastespotting.com
Mousse au chocolate, Key lemon Pie, Vanilla Icecreme with Passionfruit ;-) are some of my favorits and I love to try some new aswell as long as I can do them in 1 or 2 servings. Thank you for sharing. I will as the search engine for your sweeties Or if you ever hit here again, feel free to PM your favorit reiceipt to me or even better bring it over right to the door - it will be wide open. Thanks a bunch you are so SWEET

Oh my goodness I just went to the site you listed and oh me I could get into that Peanut Butter Cheesecake, but with prices going up everyday one might have to get a loan to make. Some of the other recipes sound real good also. Thanks for sharing. Sara

I don't have a lot of things around for dessert as I would eat them and my hubby is a very fussy eater. There are certain things I make and then I have some and then send it over to my daughter's for her family to finish.
I love butter tarts. If they are in the house I just can not resist them. But then I also can't resist puffed wheat cake, carrot cake, chocolate macaroon cookies and the list goes on!

That's so true for me. Of course, I don't need to be stressed to want desserts. It's hard for me to pick a favorite...love so many of them.

Susanne you made me laugh :o)
20years ago I made a apprenticeship as confectioner so you can imagine I like nearly everything that's sweet (especially chocolate). Cause of this I would show you my favorite article from IKEA (this would be a topseller when they ever will develop them ;o)
Greetings, Bettina
PS: "Gucksdu" means something like "look-here" (all the articles from Ikea have swedish names ;o) and it fits until 160KG=350pounds. you get also a piece of the really delicious almondtarte for free (and there you are back to the desserts *lol*).

Yum looks delicious!!!!
My favorite used to be just chocolate, but now I can get into may different sweets the more calories the better it seems. One favorite is Tunnel of Fudge cake or brownies.

Thank you Chris, I am always amused when people aroung here try to buy the "fine" Passionfruit without any wrinkels and stand beside them to put the "worst" wrikeled ones in my basket, whating them to ask or look asking why?
Just loooove Passionfruit with vanilla icecreme.
