adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." -- Martin Luther King, Jr.

This is so very true. I worry so much for our fellow Americans. May they stay safe.

A very wise man. Thanks for sharing this - it makes some sense of life's hardship and tragedies.

I agree with Dr. King. I might be forced to destroy a rabid animal, but I don't have to like it, or to rejoice over it. And eliminating one rabid dog does not do away with rabies. Thanks so much for the quote, hugs, Marji

I disagree with M. L. King! Love cannot drive out hate from the heart of a vicious animal intent on destroying/killing the pack! That animal/human is beyond help, and needs to be eradicated to saves the lives of thousands of loving, caring, innocent victims everywhere! That's like loving a convicted child molester/rapist/killer, giving him therapy, then he returns to society to continue his maliciously sickening acts of destruction to more of our babies!
Hurrah for our Navy Seals and CIA for eradicating a vicious
animal like Osama Bin Laden! To have imprisoned him, would have only led to our country's further destruction by his leading his sadistic followers from behind bars! God has blessed America by guiding the aim of the US Navy Seals!
Amen!
