thanks that was very interesting
looks like some did a lot of work
I never thought of gluing an embroidery design to a blown out egg for an Easter Tree. It will boggle peoples minds like sewing on toilet paper. LOL
does anyone know how the eggs were done? just curious. betty
moyed, thank you. i cannot imagine anyone in their right mind doing something like this, but then again i would love to try. hehehe betty

WOW! Not something that I would ever tackle. I'm not that talented for sure! Such delicate and beautiful work.
Just beautiful, but don't think I'll be trying that for this Easter or any Easter. Thank you for sharing.
OOOOOOOOooo I do these all the time, it's a breeze!
I was kidding! They are just Stunning. I paint on Blown Egg Shells, but doing this...Nay Blow That!
Such lovley work in all the photo's - I found something that I liked. Thanks Helen.
I'll just bet you were looking at the next photos of the lace work!

OMG!!! I had a closer look and I think these eggs must be plastic. They are beautiful whatever way they were done. Some clever people out there.
I think I would be making a whole lot of scrambled eggs. I can't even imagine how anyone goes about doing this.
Guess they would have to do something with the inside..Wonder how many were broken in the process....
Those eggs are just stunning. Gave a closer look and they must have punched/drilled the holes very carefully and then used ribbon embroidery thread. Don't know if I would have the patience to delicately hand craft these treasures.
This is an interesting. Not only the eggs but some beautiful Lace. Wish my lace was as good as this. Lyn
More information as to exactly HOW this is done.

Dear Helen,
They are really beautiful. How painstakingly time consuming to do all that and then to put them on the eggs. Very talented people out there! Love Chris
Yes, I knew that Helen it's just the way my sentence turned out. I can see they are sewn into the egg! I just can't fathom how they get a needle in there - how do they get it back out? Love Chris
Now I know - the pattern is repeated in exactly the same place on the other side of the egg. Therefore when you put the needle in one side you look for the corresponding hole on the opposite side. Ingenious!!!!!
Chris I did not look that far. It is too much for my brain to take in at the moment. Dont think I have the patience to do such intricate work.Helen
