As I told letvia, I had some computer glitches also. What I did was went to "computer restore". This restores things to an earlier date. This has helped me with past problems more than once!!

dlmds, I'm very fortunate that I've never had to use *system restore*, but apparently it's very good. Just a word of warning though, If you back-up to externals, CDs etc (***and you should be doing this***), I don't think *system restore* works on these, and I don't think it can be made to work on these - someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that. But the whole point is, if you have a virus or whatever on your HD, chances are it could also be on your backups - hence the reason for doing more than one backup, and doing them at different times. Also, don't save over the old copy of your back-ups, make a new one, keep the old. Remember your virus checkers etc are only as good as the *known* viruses. New viruses are appearing daily. Take great care to protect your designs (and everything else) from these pests. Hope I haven't frightened you all, chances of you getting a virus are slim, just be careful what sites you visit. Hugs and flowers sweetie.

That is a good idea. I had Microsoft before and I couldn't go anywhere, I like to play The Sims and I download objects, etc, one day I went to some pages and got a virus even having virus protection, since them I switched first to Linux and now to Mac, so I don't have to worry about viruses anymore. And Mac has something called Time machine, that store your information automatically with some regularity, so if something happen I can restore my machine.
