Hi Modo
When I bought PE design 6, I found there was a CD Book, By LOES VAN DER HEIJDEN. It is a wonderful CD that gives you lots example videos, and shows from the beginning to advanced how use the software. Website on the back www.artistitch.com. hope this is helpful, my mum has found it good as she is not been on the course, and did not always understand the book. Best of luck smoke

I don't know about PE Design, but I have Janome Digitizer Pro, and it will re-size designs that I download, like from Cute. My program does change number of stitches in fills, but in redwork makes the design smaller but stitch count remains the same. I would think PE design would resize already digitized designs. Do try what Smoke told you, since she uses that program, and good luck to you! Marji

There is contact information at the bottom of this review on PE Design 7. Perhaps this nice lady will answer your question if you email her. .............

Thank you I'll do this right now. Brother have a place to ask about it but they ask full adress and phone number, and I do not like to put it in internet.*

If it is the same as 6, Highlight it using the top left button like arrow, CTRL AND ALT BUTTON-pull with the mouse to the shape and size you want. The only thing I have found if you resize some thing too small/ too large there will be gaps in the sewing/ fill stitches.

Another thought save it to 4000 innovis/ machine and resize on there it will only make to the size min or max.

I hope this is helpful, but get hold of your dealer and go on the course to learn how to use it - it was worth it!! I design what I want and from clipart, the possibilities are endless to coin a phrase... Have fun!!!

What has your dealer told you? Have you inquired there? I think that would be a great place for you to get the answer that you are looking for - the ladies here - have given you alot of info - in this post and the previous - I hope that you can use some of them or give us more info to help you. The more info you give - even if it is in the same quesiton area - with an additional post - the easier it is to assist you. *4U

my dealer order it for me but did not carry it usualy, the place that give class is 2 1/2 hour from here and have no supprort, I know how this PE work to make a pattern, but from one that is already made like one from Cute, I do not know how

Ok - I understand, but if you do not know how to use the program that they sold you - you should call them or email them and ask them to assist you - until you now how to use it - make an appointment and spend the time to get to know your program - it is your tool to learn and work with your designs - I know each of the ladies helped with the info that they gave you - but until you know your program - you will rely on another's idea of what your program will do - not what it will do. Understand? Hehehe! *4U

modo, like I said before, I don't know anything about this software, but to my mind, I would think that if the pattern was made in that software then you should be able to resize. But - you might only be able to resize to a certain percentage. Even so, some designs or patterns might not stitch well after resizing. Free-standing lace I would not change at all. The best idea would be to resize the pattern, stitch out a trial piece, and see how it goes. Hope someone answers your question soon, because I'm just winging it here, sweetie, hugs and a flower for you.

I don't know the answer to this, but I can resize something I had done previously with my software, and it does decrease or increase the stitches. Some designs do not do well when they are resized for some reason. Hope you can get an answer from someone that has worked with the software you are asking about.

Sorry, have no idea. I can with BuzzXplore, but end up with same amt of stitches, so be careful when you finally find a way. I was thinking of getting Buzz Size (but opted for thread ...blush blush. Does Embird do it? They have a free program *4U
