Ok I have another question about thread. When I quilt or sew can I use the bobbin thread that I use when I do embroidery?

Bobbin thread is not strong enough for sewing and especially not for quilting. Serger thread can be used top and bobbin for basic sewing but for quilting, I would only use quilting thread as it is stronger and it has a coating on it that lets it slide thru all the layers of fabric easily and without fraying. You don't want to do all that work and have your project collapse in a year or 2.

Thank you. I have been quilting for many years but since I am now doing machine embroidery the question popped in my head.

Just my opinion but I'd say not to. Hopefully someone can give you some good information on this subject.
