I did the Embird basic 30 day trial and loved it so I bought it and the Iconizer. Am hoping my birthday will bring the font part to go with it. I find the Embird easy to use and I do what you are wanting to do - combine things, take parts out and put other parts in, etc.
11257I have a Brother machine and purchased basic Embird software to merge designs, convert formats, minimally increase/decrease designs, and print paper templates to align designs on the fabric, before stitching. It has many other features on just the basic, but you can purchase plug-ins for other things, as needed/wanted, such as Studio for digitizing, Font Engine for monogramming, Photo Stitch, etc. I purchased the Iconizer plug-in for approx. $20, and I do not know how I every lived without it. It allows you to view full color designs and the design info within the folders to where you download the designs, instead of just seeing format icons. Makes it so easy to pick out or find the design you want to use! For the cost and ease of use, you cannot beat Embird. They have a 30 day free trial, and there are many tutorials available to help you learn it! You may want to check out the website: www.embird.com.
