Is everyone OK in the Atlanta ,Ga. area after the storms last night and this morning?

The damage is up to 200 million now state wide.

I think most of damage was downtown Atlanta, and the tornado touched down again a couple of counties out in an area between Jrob and me. I didn't have any damage, a few miles from me in the Covington area had severe hail damage.

There were a couple of deaths and houses completely destroyed.

This is the time of the year for us to have all the Storms . shamrocks for all of you.

Thanks, I apparently can sleep through anything. My DH was up most of the night keeping watch ;)

I'm glad I'm two counties out of downtown Atlanta. From the news pictures they seem to get the worst of it. My daughter and family are in Fl. at Disney and was calling me a 7 am to tell me another one was headed my way, Athens and Monroe area. She knew I would still be in bed. She was wright.

I keep loosing my signal. The battery is low on this laptop. Just wanted to say I'm fine although more storms coming our way. I plan to run errands early as I don't want to be in the car with tornado warnings out.

jrob glad you are OK It went thru here about 3:00 AM Wind , Hale , and LIGHTING. but passed on your way pretty quickly.
