OH,meganne, You and your family will be in my prayers. I am so sorry, for all of your losses. You are so sweet to share that with me (us). I too am thankful for your sister. I don't know how I would be able to take the next breath without mine. ;)

Thank you Jrob. My sister has had 2 battles with breast cancer, 1st time with Pagets Disease had both her nipples removed and radiotherapy, 2nd time malignant cancerous lump, required Mastectomy of left breast.
I'm currently waiting for surgical removal of unidentifiable lump (FHX cancer) in my left breast... I see the surgeon Mar 20th, very anxious time so not much sewing going on here right now.
I have always supported all the cancer appeals, i figured you never know when it may affect you personally and if not yourself then someone you love. So far I have lost 10 loved ones to cancer, including my dearest friend of 52 years, she was only 56. Thankfully, my darling sister is still with me and I am grateful for that. Meganne

Oh, meganne, what an experience, my heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you. Waiting is an awful game, isn't it? I've been through that many times (malignant melanoma - and I got it without sunbaking!!!), and I have to say the waiting never gets any easier. If there's one thing I've learned it's to be grateful for *today*, and to live life to the full - or fuller if you can, be positive, and never miss an opportunity - maybe that's why I'm always here chatterboxing with all you beautiful people, haha! Love, hugs and flowers to you sweetie, and know that you will be in my thoughts constantly.

Thanks jrob, I think the breast cancer pink ribbon is such a beautiful way to give support to those women, and men, who sadly have this disease, and I'm sure it must help them tremendously to know that others support them in their brave fight to survive. Hugs and flowers for you sweetie.
