I bought a new machine this week. I bought it on ebay. I was soo scared until it arrived. It is a Janome 11000. It is not the SE only a 1.0 but it is fun anyway!! I am thrilled!!

I have the same machine and love it. I also have the 9500 and often have both machines running at the same time :)

I have a Janome 11000 as well you will truly love it and you can buy a update which will make it almost the same as the SE model you get the new hoop with the update I did it last year when they came out.

When you get a 2nd machine... do you run both at the same time? Double your pleasure????

I bought my Designer II on Ebay almost 3 years ago. You are right! It was scarry--especially since it took 10 days to get here, but I love it, and it came with so many extras, including the fabric mover. I didn't have a clue tho, that it was going to be discontinued.

I have one too, but mine is the SE. I figured while I was at it might as well go all the way. You'll love your machine. I find that the more I use it the better I like it. It's so easy to use.

I'm happy for you.What will be your first project? I guess mine won't be delivered now until Monday. The weather has improved some here but my machine is near Dallas and they have had bad weather also. Guess I'll tough it out a few more days. have fun and make something pretty.

I have made some baby burp pads. The fonts are so easy to use. I also bought a quilt pattern for my GD. I need to make a quilt for my GS.
