Do any one know a place where I can buy heavy WSS? By mail, of course. Here, in Portugal, I'm not able to find it.

You can try Allstitch they sell both the heavy Film Water Soluble Badgemaster and they sell the Fibrous type of water soluble Vilene.

Here is the direct link to the page for water solubles at Allstitch.

http://www.allstitch.net/departme...

They ship world wide so you should have no problem getting it from them.
You can always contact them and ask what the shipping will be to you in Portugal.

Hi Sqdancer, just wondering, do you use this for making badges/patches? do you use it on its own and embroider whole item, or add a layer of material and not fill in design? i want to make some badges to sew on tenpin bowling shirts. Cheers & a rose, Meganne

Hi Meganne
I use the badgemaster for my square dance patches. badgemaster in my hoop then chino in white attached with spray adhesive. I really find it great for making badges/patches...

Nini, for some reason - I was unable to get back into your questions and as well into the response that I started for you. I am sorry, that you are having so much trouble - it is never easy when you don't have the right stabilizer. Maybe someone that buys from the internet will show you where to buy what you need. I bought some H2O Gone from shoppersrule.com a couple times and I like it - I did have to use two layes, but it wasn't that expensive - maybe $28 with s/h. Good luck and please let us know what you do to resolve your difficulties. I wish I had a bushel of flowers to give you to make it all better. Shirlene

Thanks, shirlene. I've looked at shoppersrule but I'm a little confused because they show the price and ask us to "make an offer"

shirlener88 by shirlener88 09 Mar 2008

Is the price reasonable? If you think it is too high - make an offer for a price that you think it should be - if they can sell it to you for that - they will.

Hi Nini, I bought my stabiliser for FSL from here:- http://abc-embroidery-designs.com... - i bought the (woven) fabric type (in the blue pack, top left of page) it is what i used for my bookmark and I am very happy with it, highly recommend to buy from ABC. Cheers & a rose, Meganne

This can be purchased at www.shoppersrule.com. jrob also has a site she purchses from, but I have seemed to have misplaced the address. I have not used this, but my next purchase will be that kind. The type I use I have to use double, and lay one sheet one way, and then the second sheet the other way so that they are on differenct grains. A lot of waste. I hope that you can find what you need.

Thanks for your information. I used double but put the sheets in the same way. I'll try your tip, while I'm seeking for the right one. Flower for your help!
