Wow - somebody brought this back to the top - thank you all - I still have this and it is on a rack in my sewing room.
It's lovely. Such a nice way to remember a lost relative. The design looks very delicate.
Giant radix complement for the beautiful work!

Beautiful job, I am sure the family will keep this as a memento to your husband's uncle. Nice tribute to him. Lovely font, do you remember where you got it from

Yes, the design is from Heirloom Alphabet by Martha Pullen, from the Husgvarna designs collection, embroidery 9. I had it for a while, but never really used it. I thought it really looked nice, so used it.
Thank you dlonna, for answering that - I have come back a couple times - hoping you would - ove that font - pretty work.
What size did you make this. I think it is just great.
I did 10 1/2" squares. I had never done them before, and have not done them since. But, thinking about doing special guest towels this way.
That is lovely and so was your idea to comfort the grieving family.
dlonna, I can't see your picture when I bring it into the comment area, can you reload it? I know it is lovely. A flower for you.
This is great work - how wonderful that you can make your own hankie's. *4U
