My 3 year old son loves my embroidery. He helps me out all the time by pushing the start button on the machine and watches in wonder as the pictures start to appear before his eyes. cont...

No wonder he likes to watch. It is amazing to watch as the design develops. I still tend to do that.

libster, I used to babysit a little one - from the age of 6 months through 3 years old. She sat on my knee and loved every minute of it. She learned her colors by my spools of thread. She loved helping her "Grammy" as she called me. She loved LACE and the little clutch bags the most and I did make her lots of things that she still has, at 5 years old. She treasures them. I know that what you are teaching your little son will be special for the two of you. *4U

I have been doing some monogramming and he is learning some letters. Strangely enough, they are all in his name, now I wonder why that is.............

It's a wonderful way to spend time with him doing something I love with someone I love. It also teaches him to only touch something when he is told it is ok. He has already started to tell his dad that he has done the sewing and mummy helped him. Cheeky little mite........

I do this with my youngest grandson (2 and a half) whom I'm taking care. I think it's a wonderful way of spending time and teaching.
