Do any of you make your own pillow forms, or is it just more cost saving , and time saving to buy them ? Thank you.

Hi, D, I usually stuff my own pillows because I find the ready made ones expensive, too. Anyone in USA want to tell us where you find the 'cheap' ones? Thanks a bunch, ladies. Marji

I normally stuffed my own pillows. However, I just purchased two pillow forms for $13.00 but that was 50% off sale price. Normal prices I think is expensive. I am hoping they will hold there shape longer.

I've done both. It really depends on the size I need. If you use a 40% off coupon, they are reasonably priced, but if you need an unusual shape or size, making them is pretty much the only way to go.

I almost forgot to mention: if you buy the pillow forms ahead of time, you can store them in those "space bags" where you can vacuum out the air and they take up much less space (and don't get musty or dirty). To re-fluff them, toss them in the dryer on the no-heat cycle and they bounce right back.

I usually buy mine, for I find they are better for the covers that I do. Plus to me they hold form better. I get them when on sale, and try to keep a few ahead - but just where do you store them?

I usually buy them ready made. They are so cheap, but if I need a big size I use the 40% coupons available at the large craft stores.

a pillow form is the actual plain usually white (unless there are other colours available of which I don't know) pillow/cushion. They are usually stuffed with polyester filling or sometimes feathers are available too. then one just has to sew a nice pillow/cushion cover and pop the pillow form in. flower for you

the most common size is the 40cm square pillow but they are also available in other sizes and shapes.... one just has to search. they are usually found at craft and fabric shops over here and are really so cheap that its not worth making them from scratch yourself. they are also washable. hope I managed to answer your question tmjanecek
