No, I haven't but an interested in doing some, here are some good links, I have captured the alphabet ones but they have others:
I have read not to use any WSS on top in order to keep the nap up. I have included the link to the instruction pdf file I found at emblibrary.com.
Caclayto, thank you, and a huge "WELCOME" to you. I hope you like us enough to stay around to watch your flowers grow. H&*.
Jrob has given us a site to check into this further. I will go there and check it out. Maybe some of you would like to do the same. Hugs and flowers for all.
Here is a link to a blog that has a picture and instructions:

I have no idea what embossed or stamp machine embroidery is Please explain :(
I looks almost like lace around a solid design. I'll see if I can go find you a picture. ;)
I didn't but I want to give you a flower to reach the 1000.
I did try the embossed a couple of letters on kinda heavy fleece for a rice pack for grand daughter for school.I put melt away on top and tear away under.DON'T put melt away ontop. the cross hatch around the letter is very small and being fleece it did not melt like it should.maybe wss or nothing at all. But she loved it antway and off to school they went!!!
I have only seen pictures of it used on towels. So maybe give it a try on them. H.*.
I bought some packs from designsbysick . They have 3 different packs available. I am planning to try soon. Hope yours works out. Here's a flower for you.
I have not tried this, but I have done a couple items with trapunto embroidery. I did an Easter shirt last year, and it turned out cute. I did buy a design font that is embossed, and want to try it on something. Show us what you are doing, please
I have been playing around with them on bath products. Did bath on a bathmat and a monogram letter on a hand towel. I used wss on the bathmat and really didn't like the stiffness as it wouldn't even completely wash out.(may be the cheap stuff I was trying to get rid of) but I didn't use any wss on the towel and it turned out lovely. I asked about it on another forum and the replies were that it wasn't necessary from the professionals. Guess it is a matter of preference and probably the medium it is being sewn onto. :)
I read that WSS isn't necessary since you want the pokies coming up through the holes left for the look to be proper. Saying that, I've not tried it. ;)
Sally, I tried them and I really think they are wonderful. Thinking about that - I might just put that in the projects, I did notice that one of the other ladies had one that said #1 son and she did a wonderful job on it, too. *4U
