I made my first 18,000 stitch mistake! My mother always told me, sew on Sunday, take out double Monday. Didn't take them out, but just tried to make something from my silly error. Will post later

Triple ouch! Looking forward to seeing what you make of it. Most of us have those things that some elf or grinch interferred with the design!

Oh, ouch. Those big mistakes are so disheartening. I am glad that you were able to at least try and make something else from your mistake. Far too often, I have to rip out my mistakes and try to "recover" the project by restitching. =[

I hate to rip out - have you ever used the stitch shaver? I have a project that my machine messed up and when I tried to take out the stitches it created a hole. This was a throw, and I am trying to fiqure out how not to throw it out!. Maybe an applique, front and back so that it would not show?
