soz havent done the denim yet so came here to see your answers hahaha thanx girls * 4 u all :) happy sewing
whitefeather, Sounds like you got some good answers so I will just welcome you to the site .and here's a flower for you.
Take the denim stitchout into your dealer, and ask them. They know your machine, and when they see the actual stitchout, they should be able to tell you exactly how to fix it.
welcome to cute community, are you hooping your fabic in the hoop? I'd try hooping the backing and just pinning or use fabic glue around the egde of the hoop to hold your denim down. are you working with a pants legs, or shirt, or jacket? what size needle are you using? The needle may not be your problem. but don't forget denim takes a larger needle. Good Luck:) and flowers for all.
What stabilizer, and needle size do you use? I love to stitch on denim. Please let me know so I can be of more help. Hugs and flowers for all.
If you are seeing "white" on the front it could possible be your bobbin thread being pulled to the front(assuming you used white bobbin thread), giving the indication that the tension is not correct. I have not embroidered on denim much, but used a black stabilizer just to make sure that the stitches did not pucker. Not really one of my favorites to do!Hope you can get to your problem.
That was my first thought, bobbin thread. I, too, use black stabilizer on denim. Sounds to me like you are right on it dlonna. ;)
I nerver use backing/stabelizer on denim, just give it a trie and who knows, it makes the difference, Good luck
