I will be working on a new Divorce quilt square as soon as I get everything reloaded. Hopefully it won't be to much longer.

Thanks
Linda

Don't you hate computers that don't work. I have decided to buy a new one and keep this one as my back up just in case the new one goes wrong.

So sorry for your loss, he he I DO know how bad a crashed computer can be!! Lucky for me that both my sons are computer builder and fixers, but it's a pain sometimes, one day I'll go to my computer to find that it's gone... one of the boys decided to update it for me and I'll have to wait until they've 'fixed' it and to find out that I have to reinstall all my programs and such, this is why we always buy our programs on CD's. In fact when ever my younger son has a computer problem he simply formats (wipes clean the hard drive) the whole thing and reinstalls from new. Lucky for me that I keep a portable hard drive updated with my files!

Linda, so sorry to hear that you had a PC crash - sorry it couldn't be repaired and you had to buy a new PC - do what you can - when you can. *4U

Maybe you wore it out from your sudden bout of activity over the popular Divorce theme! Sorry to hear you need to replace it anyway. I hope it's not too traumatic or time consuming.

My volume control (not as in sound) needs to be reset and the instructions are confusing me so I will end up restoring and installing all the software again. Not looking forward to doing that. It's taking about 10 minutes to start up when turned on so when I know I have alone time with no one to bother me I will do the restore. Hope you didn't lose your files.

Just think at one time a computer took up the space of an entire room, wonder if they crashed as much as our more modern day ones do that can fit in my lap? Sorry to hear of your crash but can tell you have it well under control. Hugs, Karen

Linda, I can feel your pain. I recently had to do the same thing myself. The good news is, I survived! Sure hope that all goes well and quickly for you, without you having to upgrade alot of your software. Hugs***

Oh my - that is what I have my DH do - I know that it is a chore. He has been working on one of his PC's all afternoon, for he thinks that he is about to have an issue.
