which ones they are? I guess what I mean is something that turns it into a picture or something like that. I also was wondering if there was a program to resize pes designs? Thank you for your welcome and your patience.

I organize my downloaded images by the website where I got it. When I want to see a photo of it, I go see it on the website. I have my computer set up near my machine for reference.

Welcome! Ask away, someone will jump in and answer. I have just gotten SewIconz, which gives me a tiny icon of the design itself when I open a folder. Don't know why I waited so long! I love it. I have software from Babylock where I can view and do other things to my files, but this is right there. Look at both sites, you can download it for a 7 day trial before buying. And they have other programs for catagorizing, editing, (resizing, merging, changing colors, etc) that are not that expensive. I also got SewWhatPro, which will do more editing than what I have, but have not played with it yet. They also have a yahoo group where the creator of the programs is an active member. He personally called me to help me with an issue.

I love my basic Embird with its Iconizer plug-in!! The best for the money that I've ever spent!

Welcome! I wonder if you're Mary, as you have 'littlelambs' as your name here :) Lots of people use Embird with it's Iconizer. I do use that for some things but have Janome software as I have Janome machines. I got used to that first, but Embird would have been lots cheaper. Good idea to do lots of research and you're starting well by asking questions here. I hope you enjoy being part of this group.

If you happen to have a Mac computer you can use Stitch Buddy to view all your designs easily in your regular file viewer just as if they were any other image. It is wonderful. If not, I don't know how PC users view their designs. Any PC users have a solution??

I have PE design because it goes with my Brother machine. You have been given info on where you can get a package to resize designs. Happy sewing

Try using the search tab on the left here "All Topics". Look for "software" and "organize" to see what other people do.
Also add tags to your own posts to help others and yourself in the future.

I have PE Design. It is software that works with my Brother machine. I can look at each design (1 at a time). It can do some minor changes like resize. The general rule is "do not change the size more than 20%. Don't change FSL at all.
There are other software programs that can read the files in your folders.
I put a picture (jpeg, paint) of the design in my folders and set my folders to read thumbnails so I can see it at a glance.

Often when you download a design and save it, you can right click on the picture of the design and put it into the file with your design. I usually have folders with the digitizers, and keep track of things this way. Some digitizers do not allow you to do this, but many do. I certainly helps in tracking your designs. I had a software program that allows me to look at my folders. It is Husqvarna 4D Pro. I know that there are others, and surely some other Cutie will come along and let you know some more infomration. And Welcome to Cute.
