62459Oh Karen-enjoy your new present-I also have an HP laptop- love it! Mine, whoever is 2 yrs. old-but is still wonderful. We just got a new IMac for the family computer but wow-that is going to be learning process for me(I'm used to my windows/vista). Have fun getting set up and playing with your new "toy" ~linda~

1283It was definitely time for a new computer. There was no sound because the sound card is kaput. The monitor which belongs to us is also starting to go as well. The screen goes all green. So I am in the process of removing all the programs on the borrowed computer. & installing them on the new one. We have owned 3 Gateway Computers before. 1 desktop & 2 laptops. Time for a change of the brand that we were clinging to.
11263I am a lucky girl too, I got and HP laptop just before Christmas when Best Buy had a bargain but I haven't used it for downloading designs since my Ped-basic is on the regular computer. I wanted it so I could show hubby emails, you tube videos and the like. He is not into computers much and usually only goes to jigzone to put together puzzles. I am liking mine!

Thank you Shirlene! He got part of his gift from me last night as well. I got him a Kreg jig for woodworking. I will probly be using it too. :) *4U
