Is there any way I can convert a format to Jef? I have seen some lovely designs in other formats and wondered if I can still use them. As you can probably guess I am very new to embroidery.

Hello, Lyn, had to add my big WELCOME too! I use JEF, I have a Janome 300E. I got the digitizing pro program with it, so that program will convert to anything, as well as being able to digitize. The others have given you some great advice, I have heard a lot of good things about that Wilcom Tru-Sizer. If you have any Janome questions, just ask, I'll be happy to give you a good reason why I don't know the answer, LOL LOL. Again, big welcome to you! Marji

Thanks, and it's our pleasure Lyn, if there's one thing we're good at, it's making friends feel welcome, and we also manage to give some *helpful* advise sometimes, haha.

A big welcome to you, Lyn, here is a link to a free program that will not only convert almost all formats, I know it does jef because that's what I use, but it also resizes designs very successfully. http://www.wilcom.com.au/PRODUCTS... Enjoy your time with us, and hope to see you often, hugs and a flower for you, have a fun day.

Lyn4, some programs will allow you to do that. My Artista program does. I do not know if there is a program that you can purchase for conversion only. I hope someone more knowledgeable than I will come on to answer your question. ;)
