You have had good knowlege supplied to you. Emblibrary.com does have a video. I use applique quite often, and love it. In the baby quilt I submitted in projects I used this - I think. I have slept since I did that, and would have to look at the picture to be certain. Once the die line is sewn, you can use multiple fabric and colors. Try an easy sample, and I am sure you will love it.

Truthfully, doing more than one application (adding more than one piece of fabric) isn't much different from doing a single. Each piece is taken one step at a time. You will get the placement stitch to show where to put the fabric, then the tack-down sitch which you will clip the fabric as close to as possible. Then, it will either move on to the placement of the second piece of fabric or it will do the satin stitch around the first. That part depends on the digitizer and exactly what the design is. I have a "sunbonnet Sue" design that has her bonnet appliqued, her dress appliqued, and a parasol appliqued as well. That is the order that you place the fabrics as well, and then it does the rest of the image in stitches and finally finishes with the satin stitch around the appliqued portions. As I tell others, just take a deep breath, hoop up a spare piece of material, and jump right in. You will learn more from doing then you ever could by watching.

Try emblibray.com. They have several video clips on various topics as well as on screen visual directions. Good Luck
