I was walking by one of the aisles this package just jumped out and said "buy me"! Well it was the TimTams by Pepperidge Farm's. Right underneath of the name was "Australia's Favorite Cookie!" and now understand why!

They are going to be available from October to March here in the USA so if you like them you should stock up. This is copied and pasted: "Tim Tams were introduced to the U.S.A. through Pepperidge Farm as a promotional item from November 2008 to March 2009. They were sold through Target stores only; varieties offered were Original (sold as Chocolate Crème) and Caramel. Pepperidge Farm re-released these two varieties with Classic Dark in October 2009. That time the Original and Caramel varieties were available in supermarkets other than Target and they were available in the U.S.A. until March 2010. In late 2009 Pepperidge Farm announced that they would be available in the future at the same time every year, from October to March."

Now WHY are you telling me this after I've lost 9 lbs so far since Thanksgiving? I can just taste them and I don't even know what they taste like, but if there is chocolate anywhere in them,I can sure imagine.... LOL...Maybe I'll try them for Christmas as a treat for myself.:)

Congratulations on tasting them, however I think I must be the only Aussie who doesn't like Tim Tams or Vegemite!

No you're not Zedna - I hate Vegemite and I have eaten Tim Tams but can't anymore due to allergies to Wheat!!!!! Oh! well, one out of 2 ain't bad.

My daughter Dana loves sucking drinks through them. They are like a chocolate covered biscuit and crunchy.

Love Chris

Carolyn, I will have to look for them - I remember all the talk - long time ago from the Australian ladies and so wanted to try them at that time, too. So happy for you. *4U

You're right about the why...we just recently found them at our local Target store and bought one of each kind.Sad but true we didn't find one that we didn't like...so looks like we're hooked. Wonderful cookies.
