Just a guess here, but might it have to do with time zones? When you came back to the site, did it have a different freebie? I have noticed that when I am logged on and it becomes a different "day" for the site & the freebie changes, I have to log in again. At least I think that's what I've noticed, there's no guarantee when it comes to me & computers. And I "lost" my dish detergent, because I put it in the cupboard where it belongs instead of leaving it on the sink! Thank heaven the embroidery machine is very large, or I'd misplace that thing too! I think this sign-on thing is just a computer mystery. Marji

I don't mind having to sign-in again, it's when the computer tells me I need to sign-in and then won't let me because it says I'm already signed-in! Who can understand the *mind* of a computer!!! Have a fantastic day everyone.

Something else to consider- Some Internet sites have a time out when the computer is inactive.
Some software will ask if I want to save the password information that you have entered. If so click yes. When I save a site to my favorite list I usually do so after I have created the password and log in. I enter the sites through my favorite list and most of the time I am already logged in. If not by clicking in the blank space you see a pull down window with information and you just click it. Hope I didn't confuse you. Just thought I'd give you some things to try.

it just might be that you have not "told" your computer to accept cookies. Cookies are what are stored in a folder so that everytime you revisit a site, it searches out your sign in and password. ;)

same for you raels

Raels, when I first came to the site, my computer was doing that, too. Now, I have no real help for you here, because after about 2 weeks of signing in and clicking 'remember me' every place & time I could, someplace in it's demented brain the computer actually did 'remember' me, & it hasn't happened since. Just keep telling it over & over, maybe eventually it'll learn. Marji

I had exactly the opposite experience: signed out, shut off the computer, came back on an hour later, restarted, visited the site again and did not have to sign in again. No idea why things like this happen. My ignorance is stunning... ha ha. Still love the site!

mops, if your computer is allowing cookies to be stored that is why it saw and recognized you.;)
