and EGD; they were looking at gastritis or possibly an ulcer. They found cancer and I had to have part of my small intestines removed along with 1/3 of my stomach, potion of the liver and the pancrease. The good newas is that the tumor had not broken the liver or pancrease capsule and was only attached. I will need chemo and radiation in the near futre.

Hi Gods Word says that "By His wounds you HAVE been healed" 1 Peter 2:24 - claim His healing. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and has also been healed completely. Continue to pray, put your faith in Him and He will help you through this trial and bring you out stronger on the other end. God bless and we will pray for healing and strength. Love Glynnis

Oh My! Ellen, you are in my thoughts and prayers. There are many here that are survivors (overcomers)....Some might not understand this, but God IS Good! To think if you had not had the colonoscopy it really could have gotten worse. The Lord has shown favor on you and the family. PTL they found it during this proceedure and took precautionary action. As the others have said, you must think positive in all things. It will be a rough road ahead but look to Jesus to give you the strength to help you through all this. God Bless you and your family. Keeping good thoughts for you. The best thing to do is stay positive, honestly, people who go into it with a positive outlook actually do better. Smile, even through the chemo. Bald can be beautiful, I wasn't but some are, lol. Food will taste different, maybe bad but you need to eat to keep up your strength. We will all be thinking of you!

Our prayers are with you. My mother went through a simular experience two years ago and is doing great today. May you be blessed with the same experience.
