rotary cutter. What a dream. Heavier than most but was actually the best thing I've ever used. Well after only 5 months the knob that holds the blade on broke! I was devastated. After spending mega bucks on a rotary cutter it was reduced to a paper weight. Well I wrote a note to the Gingher company via email and within 2 days got a response, sent them a pix email of the cutter and the problem and today I receive a brand spanking new rotary cutter in the mail. All this in less than 2 weeks start to finish. Now that's what I call a good company.

That's all I have ever used...best on the planet...and that is why they are still around..a good company that will back there product!..* for you..I just sent 2 pair of ginghers (applique and curved) to another cutie not to long ago...

I have sold their scissors for years as I am a retired teacher and I probably sold hundreds of them...any time there was a problem, which was seldom, but if there was it was taken care of ASAP.
I like my Ginghers......

I just love it when companies stand behind their craftmenship. I will alwAys recommend the good companies to people and tell them the bad ones to stay away from. Thank goodness there are still some great companies out there! Suzanne

Companies that stand behind their products are hard to find these days. I'm glad to know that Gingher is one of the good ones and I will keep this in mind when I'm needing new scissors or rotary cutter. Thanks for sharing this and have a blessed day.

You brought a product from a well known company that has been around for several decades and they back their goods. Your e-mail note proved that they were willing to work with your problems. Now that they know this problem can happen they will work to make their product even better. It must have been a relief to get a replacement.

Glad you got sorted - that's the reason i prefer to deal with reputable companies - unless you bought on price and were prepared to "throw away" after a while. I bought a Fiskar (when Wilkinsen were their agents)in 1980's and still use it.

You got lucky! You dealt with a good company and reaped the rewards! Thing is, it is soooo hard to tell these days who will stand behind their products and who won't. I am glad the outcome was good and thanks for sharing the name with us! Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

NO some times you pay too much for rubbish with no service or the guarantee is not covered for that part and it's always your fault not their's
