Don't feel daft. I worked for Queensland Health for 21 years absolutely everything is an anacronym, but I was reading a business related blog post and it took me weeks to work out that ROI meant return on investment. You would think running a business I would have worked that one out. But the funniest one I came across was when a doctor noted in a chart that the patient had SOB. I of course being a nurse new that meant shortness of breath, but the psychologist in the room thought it meant something entirely different. I will leave it to your imagination what she thought it meant.

You must be from my generation where we did not abbreviate everything for texting. I don't even have text on my cell phone. Kay

In which case I'm from an earlier generation, I REFUSE to have a cell phone.

I wish I didn't have one, there is nothing wrong with people not being able to get hold of you from time to time. It drives me nuts because it always rings when I am driving.

I know this sounds terrible but my husband calls these moments "brain farts". Told you it was terrible but I find I'm having more of these as I get older. Have a blessed day.

We all go a little brain dead in front of the computer. I see DBC and I think DBS (designs by sick). Have fun and welcome to our group!

When I think of Designs by Sick - I just use the term SICK.

HAHA We must be related....I thought the exact same thing the first time I seen it, only I didn't ask what it meant. I spent an hour going through other posts looking for some clue. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. That was when I decided I'd been online far to long, shut down the computer, and went to bed. :-)
