I have over 300 designs that I am changing from SEW to PES.

I am using Pulse Ambassador.
Is there a trick that I am missing because the colours are not from my Pes thread chart so now I have to change each colour as well. I can do this, but there are just too many designs.
I am hoping that a Cutie will advise if there is an easier way to get through this.( the designs are very good ,else I would abandon them)
Thank You

Bev. Download the free trial of sewwhat. It does block conveting. When I changed machines needed Jef not pes, so all mine were changed by folder not single design.

Dear moyed,
This demo really worked fab, even all the colours came out right.:)I will definitely choose this program to buy.
Only had 60 chances to convert with this demo and I used them up pronto.
Thank you very much!

I am able to get so many designs (I use pes) that I do not bother converting from other formats. Sometimes when designs are converted they can lose some of the quality.

These are great designs that I am going to persevere with the change. pulse ambassador is doing a great job,
the main prob is the sheer number of designs, and was hoping someone could help to make the job easier.

You will find when you convert designs from one format to another that the colors will be different. this is because it picks up the nearest color in the new format color chart and sometimes that is nowhere near the color it should be. I never use color charts I could not stand to restrict my creativity that way. Changing the colors will be a long tedious process. You could just use the correct color according to the sequence as it was in the sew format. Or just use your imagination and use whatever color you like. I did a blog post on this a few weeks ago.

Yes thanks.I see that if i rotate the designs( some are sideways they then show all white)I will have to colour them before uploading to my emb mach.
I was hoping there is a diff/ easier way cos ther are so many ( they have lovely shadings and undersewing and are probably worth all the effot to convert)

Perhaps you should just convert them as you need them, that may make the job less tedious.
