I bought the machine used so I don't have a dealer, and the dealer in my area was a total scammer when I went to see him. I called another local dealer and he quoted me $250 just for the part. I will pay this if someone assures me it is reasonable. I am hoping to find it cheaper, but I definetly don't want to pay more than I have to. Any advice would be SO appreciated!!!

contact sewvac . They have a toll free 800 number and email for questions, I found a bobbin case there for 9 dollars less than anyone else, even ebay could'nt beat the prices and shipping is only 2 dollars. Hope they can help

Where are you located? I have an MB4 also. Look on the Janome site for another dealer near you. Ask them to give you a quote. If all else fails contact Janome direct. Hope this helps. Hugs Lynn

I am in Huntingtown MD. I am not so lucky with the dealers around me, but I will try Janome...thanks for the suggestion!

Wow! We just moved here from Florida...we are from Orlando but were living in Port saint Lucie, now we are in Huntingtown. We are both 29...hubby is an engineer in Nuclear Power...hence the moving.
