Was it a gust of a ghost - no looked outside and what was left of the leaves - well they were not moving. My husband didn't feel what we did so was oblivious to what had happened. We are about 3300 feet above sea level and the wind can do some serious damage and the day before we had 45mph gusts. Looked outside again and still no wind was moving the foliage. My daughter went to work Monday and texted me that there had been a minor 2.9 earthquake about 10 miles from where we live. How did my husband not feel that? So now the mysterious event was solved. Now I wonder where the safest place to live where there is no tornado, hurricane, waterspouts, typhoons, earthquakes, volcanoes, and any of the other natural forces of nature. Should also consider crime.

Here is the link to the article I found on the very small earthquake:

I don't know that there is a safe place. Every place has some problem or other.
We just had a 2.0 earthquake a couple of days ago. I'm a California girl, I slept right through it. Now give me a solid 5.6 and I call it a fun roller coaster. Anything bigger and I start to worry.

Glad it was no worse than that.

I am thankful that you only felt a rumble.

Anita, the only place where there will be none of this is Heaven. LOL, just think of the calmness we will have for weather. However I think with the angels, that will stir up enough wind for everyone. hehehe.
