Have posted in projects the finished designs with a different font stitched out great.
I've encountered this problem before and no adjustments seemed to work so I just used the same thread in the bobbin therefore they matched and the font looked great. Whatever advise you try good luck and happy stitching.
I agree with trying another bobbin. I buy prewound bobbins by the box and sometimes I get a bad one. It might also be the design.
My first posting! Hello everyone.
I had a similar problem, took my new machine and stitch-out samples to my dealer/repair person. Nothing wrong with machine or tension, only suggestion was that my machine might be one of the fussy ones, and need the same thread in bobbin as on top, not lighter weight bobbin thread. As long as I make sure of using the same thread I can stitch out letters with no problem.
Maybe this will help.
Try another bobbin sometimes it is not wound correctly. Change thread also. I had a faulty spool of thresd and after I changed the thread it came out great. Also check the bobbin case. Pull the thing apart completly sometimes it a small bit under the bobbin in the case. That has happened to me resulting in the same problem you are having now. What sort of material are you using? Make sure you have enough stablizer sometimes adding more helps . Suzanne
Thank you just let you know I tried a font that I have use before and it stitch out great.
I did try another new fonts before asking they were both free will not say where as I am greatful for there time.
Would like to know why the first two did not work they are beautiful fonts and would love to use them is it in the digitizing.
Maybe those just weren't digitized well but then I had so much trouble with my bobbin thread showing on top that I better just shut up, lol. Good luck!
If you have another hoop you can try, set it up the same way as the one you are using, choose a different design, (one you have stitched out before that you know stitches well) and try stitching that out.
If you still have problems with the bobbin thread then you know it is something you need to change, but if it stitches out perfectly then you will know the design is too dense and you may need too choose a finer needle size 75/11 and slow down your machine speed.
