I have been doing embroidery for a few years, and I have never kept track of where I get my designs from. Once I buy them, I've never had to need to keep track of where I got them.
Yes there are so many wonderful designs posted in projects. I too like to know where they are from but I know myself I often forget where many of my designs come from as Im not very good at keeping track.
I too like to know where they came from. I TRY to put that info in, but after downloading for about 12 yrs. now, I just don't know where I got it all!! I do put in my file info where I got it, if I can remember from the time I dl to the time I open on the computer and file it!! Some come with the info already imbedded in the file & the site will be over in the comment area. AND some will put a doc. file or something that has the site name on it..I like that as I can see where I got it. Maybe if anyone is reading this that has a site might consider added a small notepad file to all the others in the zip with just their site name? For some of us older folks!
I must admit that I don't keep track of most of my free designs. I have all of my Cutie designs under the DBC label though. Who rates in my world!
Sally dear, I know what you mean - it is like they forget that others might want to know about that great design - that they just shared with them - of coarse we will want to know - we want everything that we see - don't we? Maybe they will understand more now - what the description area is for. For US to know more about the project and design!
It is just nice to know also it gives some credit to the talented person that digitized and shared the designs. Yes, I want everything I see and I want to know as much as I can about all that I see. Tee hee!! Have a great day. H&*
I wish I knew where all my designs came from so I could help people who are looking for certain designs but I didn't keep that info!
I also have some designs that I do not recall where they came from. Do understand if someone is not sure--could say "not sure where the design is from". Even that would be helpful--as one of the "Cuties" that see it maybe able to say where it was from. H&*
