I have 2,221,319 and I bought the machine January 29th of this year. Not sure if I am "normal" or if I do WAY too much stitching!

Happy Stitching Everyone.
I do way less that any of these so no competition.
All these machines are marvelous to keep up with you.

What a fun question, I have done 369hours 12243309 stitches on my machine since I bought it a little under 2 years ago I also use my old single needle from time to time but I am not sure how many stitches it has done. I don't stitch anywhere as much as I would like to.

Amazingly, I don't get as much time to stitch as I would like either. Thanks for your reply.

Since April, I have put about 1 million stitches on my Ellisimo. My BMP has about 8 million in less than 3 years. And my Ellegante in 3 years had about 2 million. I bought the BMP because I was putting so many stitches on the Ellegante. And I will be ptting another million or so on the machine by the time the Christmas ornamnets are done. Gee, I'm tired just thinking about this. Thank goodness I have spent about 6 weeks away on vacations or the numbers would be higher.

You are in the crazy for ME bucket too - just the fact that you have multiple machines with millions each qualifies you. Thanks for your reply.

Mine doesn't tell the number of stitches but it keeps track of the number of hours in use. I'm a low mileage person. It would be interesting to know what a reasonable number would be for a home use machine. I know that my dealer at time complains about a few customers that use the machines as if they were commerical ones.

Low mileage is good too - less repair costs for you! Thanks for your reply.

I have a babylock and my dealer told me my machine had too many stiches for a short period of time, I had a little over 4,000,000 in 10 months, but I worked in my machine all the time. I love it.

Okay, you have me beat! Thanks for your response.

clawton by clawton 20 Oct 2010

That means that you probably do around 13,000 stitches per day. Considering some of the designs that doesn't seem like too much. However, that is 7 days a week.

I don't know how many stitches I have, but the shop where I bought the machine says I must stitch ALOT because I am always in buying bobbin thread, thread and needles.lol

And I think you may be a big stitcher too - so, how many stitches do you have on your machine?

bevintex by bevintex 20 Oct 2010

how do you find out?

pcteddyb by pcteddyb 20 Oct 2010

Most machines have a button that has all kinds of information about the machine and settings for the machine. Mine is a brother and it is the button that has a picture of a piece of paper. In there it lets me set mm/inch, speed, etc. and has one that shows number of stitches on the machine and number of stitches since last service.
