I think your mom liked it very much and wanted to wear it at the wedding with you She returned it when she was through wearing it. Glad you found it. Suzanne
My nana always told me when you lose something do not look for it.
If its meant to be it will find its way back to you :-)
My nana has recently gave me a diamond pendant but made me promise to wear it..
If I inteneded to keep it in a box then I cant have it
she says the value will be its memory which scares me even more.. she says it was meant to be worn and not hidden
Big hugs from London

Dear Carolin,
I am so thrilled for you that you found it. I had a beautiful bracelet that the children gave me for my 50th and it was stolen - and it's a dreadful feeling knowing that you will not get something back that you loved so much.
I'm so happy that you have found the Amethyst - they're a beautiful stone. Love Chris
Thanks Chris, the amethyst is my birthstone and the brooch was my grandmothers. Very sorry to hear about the bracelet
Caroline, Lucky lucky lucky you! It was meant to be especially something so precious to you. except maybe the time spent looking is that is the worst. Then you resign yourself that it is gone forever.. Then woo hoo you find it...that feeling is the best...Sally
Caroline, so happy that you found the amythyst - that is my and my Mother's birthday stone - I would have been lost thinking of losing it - like you were - so happy to know - that perhaps your Mom was looking down and wanted to be part of the get together and linger on with Twm for a bit and went home in his bag. So happy to hear - that you will going to the jeweller soon, too.
So glad you found out where the missing amythyst was.....how wonderful to know your moms broach will be fixed and can enjoy it for many years.
I am so glad everything turned out so well for you....It would have been a terrible loss..Glad you are also HAPPY for the call....loves deanna
I am so glad the stone was found. I would have been upset too. It all ended up good.
I am so Happy for you. What a wonderful phone call. I am sure that someone was looking over your shoulder that day. I understand how you felt. About 2 years after we were married I lost my diamond engagement ring I was just beside my self. It was my mother in laws. So we traced all my steps and finally found it in the pillow case. I had been doing laundry and my ring was loose around my finger and it slid off when I put on the pillowcase.
Congratulations on finding your engagement ring. Bet you have cared for it since
What a wonderful outcome for you...you're mother must have been watching over you from above. ~Rita
It's wonderful you got your Mother's brooch back. Be sure and have the jeweler add a safety clasp.
