skin was burned from radiation. He was sick from chemotherapy and endured operation after operation. His life was far from "normal" and he was in constant pain. Today we celebrate the arrival of his healthy little sister - born on September 22nd. She is "bringing her parents back to life" as a part of them had died with Declan. So many have been made aware of childhood cancers and bone marrow donorship in the wake of his death. We know that he was an angel sent from above as he has made a huge difference and the love has "rippled" around the globe. Declan, thanks for hand picking your baby sister to fill the void. Declan, my precious angel, we love you!!!!

Congrats on the new GD. I am so sorry about the loss of your GS. We cannot question why sometimes but we can only keep our faith. I am sure that the parents and G. Parents will love and cherish this little precious gift from God.

We don't understand why God allows things like that to happen, but He will always have a perfect plan. Declan is holding Jesus hand and looking down on his new baby sister and smiling. Thank you for sharing this story.

I hate that disease with a passion. it is indiscriminate and cruel beyond all reasoning and when I hear of children suffering it just breaks my heart.

I pray that their new baby daughter will bring love and laughter back into their lives and that she will feel the love of her big brother Declan, for no doubt he will be there as her guardian Angel.
Hugs and blessings, Meganne

How terribler tragic for little Declan and his parents. so happy to hear that there is now a little baby sister born like me on the 22nd of September.
A little virgo. We are prefectionists lol, but critical of others shortcomings. May she bring happiness to all around her and lots of healing. Hugs Edith

We often wonder why such terrible things happen to small ones...only God knows the answers. But as you mentioned, good things come out of bad. Although the new baby can never replace Declan, she will be such a blessing to the family.

Yes we never know why things like this happen, but we know that he is very happy with Jesus in heaven and that he touched lives during his short time on earth. Congratulations with the new baby and I pray that she will be a blessing of above to all. Hugs and may God bless you all.
