I deleted the program from my computer and downloaded the program from the cd and starting over. It still made me do the upgrade and it will not let me save my work. Is anyone else having this problem? I don't know what to do. The upgrade must have a bug in it.

Sierra Technology Group said that the problem has been corrected and that the update is now optional, rather than mandatory. They state that everything should be back to normal.

Do I have to delete and reinstall to make it go back to normal and just ignore the update?

I don't use that program but can you reload and click no/decline to the upgrade? have you restarted your computer after the upgrade? Do you need to re-input a licence code or something like that? If none of this works I would certainly be contacting the company and advising them that there is a bug.
Alice.

There was no choice. I had to do the upgrade. I restarted computer. I redid the registration. None of these worked.

technology has been sent to test us. I am pleased to see that powagrl has found a resolution.
