O how lovely, it will be glowing for many years to come.
Hugs Pam.
He has some really neat things, pages to look at on his site, very nice job on the nativity set!!!
Oh my gosh. This is dazzling! So beautiful! You did a great job.
Coming up on Christmas so I thought I'd comment on this to bring it back up to the top of the page..
I just think it is a person choice as to what thread works the best for their machine. I know I paid $5.00 a spool and it took 25 of those for the glow in the dark. So I can't say how many designs you can get out of a spool. But thankyou all for the lovely comments. And have fun stitching this design out.

I d/l'd and this is next on my list.I probably will just use the regular white and frame it with black background/frame. It is pretty.
Very beautiful Nativity Set. Think I shall try this for my Son and his family. Thank you for sharing.
wow, this is beautiful!! love it. Is it embroidered on a background like organza? or is it completely FSL? it's great, and great idea you framed it and used the glow in dark thread!
Completely fsl, using spray adhesive to secure to the fabric. Thanks.

I love it. It is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Arlene
Wow! It looks stunning. This is so lovely, I want to stitch it for my g/children. How much thread was on each spool please? And did you use bobbin thread or glow-in-the-dark. I can buy 1500yds reels, so would like to know how many items I could get from it.
Yes I use the glow in the dark thread for both top and bottom. It will glow longer in the dark that way. As for the amount of thread you would need. I am thinking 2 spools of the 1500yd reels should work. When I did this design, all I had was 100 yd spools and it took 25 of them. I wish you luck and when you are done we would like to see pictures. Thanks

Thanks for the information. I'm going to have to give this a lot of thought as the only g-i-t-d I have found is Maderia and here in England 1500yds costs £35! I will be searching the net for cheaper threads I think.
www.longcreekmill.com has it. You could email them and see what the shipping would be for a spool. It wouldn't hurt to try. Nothing gain nothing lost.
Thank you. I didn't find the thread but their 1000 cones are far cheaper than I pay and so is the bobbin thread. Conversion makes mine $3.50 not $2! I found your threads much cheaper when I visited.
Beautiful-thanks for the info as to quality and stitch out. One of my favorites!
This is lovely, do you have this in a frame?
Yes, the frame is hard to see since it is black like the background.
Thankyou

I love it, stil have to do it myself and most of the time i think about it its to late. You did a great job, Yvonne
Most of the nicer fsl designs takes time. Anyone can do it. once my machine start stitching, I just sit back and read or surf the net while listening it it stitch out. And once you do it, you are hook.

You did a wonderful job here. And thanks for the input on the quality of flipkoza designs. It's reassuring to know they will stitch out beautifully.
Wow! This looks fabulous! How fun to use glow in the dark thread. I bet it is beautiful in the darkness watching over your sewing room. I also have this design for a couple years, just haven't tried it yet...maybe this year. :-)
Thank you for sharing this beauty and also for your experience with the stitch out. I'm happy to hear it stitches well.
I love working with glow in the dark thread. This designs took 25 spools to create and when I got to the last few designs of it I ran out of thread and had to go and get more to finish it. But it was worth it.
Thanks
