and my daughter moving to her own house last week has added to the worries. I have spent the last 2 weeks very busy packing, moving, unpacking and cleaning the rented home for them (they have done a major part of it too). Llion Twm's safe arrival this morning is brilliant and he is a beautiful grandson. Am I biased I ask myself? Our other daughter and her husband have arrived for a few days to be here for Twm. I have been asked not to spoil him. I told them, sorry no chance I am going to spoil him

It's against the law not to spoil grands. You have to do it. I don't get to see mine very much so when I do I go for it. Congrats Grandma have fun with him. They are so special. Now sit down and rock him and leave the cleaning and orgainzing to someone else. Lol.

They are brought in this world to be spoiled! Spoiling is so much fun and as long as they are taught good manners and good values they will be just fine. The more they are spoiled, the more they know they are loved. Give Mom a big hug from all of us and congratulations on being a granny! I did not get the pleasure of spoiling my grands because they were grown and had children when My son married their Mom, however I have had fun spoiling the great grand's! They are now, 2, 4, and 6. The baby was a month and a half old when My son married his Granny so I have been able to see him grow and learn alot of new things. This was my son's 1st marriage and he got the WHOLE family thing all at once. His step daughters were grown and not at home when he married their Mom but now the youngest daughter and her 2 boys, 2 & 4 are living with them and so is his wife's 81 yr old , very sick Mom. He has had alot to adapt to in the last 2 yrs. Their 2nd anniverasry is the 19th of this month!

Congrats! I never thought I could love a child more than I loved my two until my granddaughter was born. Then I wondered if I could love more than that. Well that question was answered when her brother and cousin were born last winter. You'll look in the mirror and wonder if if was all that long ago when you were raising your babies, but other than that, you earned the right to spoil him, if loving him as you do isn't spoiling, I don't know what is. My best wishes to the new parents, and all the family. It only gets better from here!

They obviously do not understand the role of the grandma, we are suppose to spoil them, that is the rule! Can't believe she cooked the meal and all knowing this was happening the next day! Congratulations! Maybe some day I will get one! Maybe not :(
