Just when you think you are getting somwhere with all these new Programs / new Windows/new Emb software/new Sewing or Embroidery machines. You get a new HEADACHE.

I've DL Wilcom + Pulse +Eos. now which do I use and what can I do with each, that I can't do with the other.
I do also have PE- design and I use PES format on my machine.
Are there any other Programs that I could try too?
I have been to all the other postings here that I could trace, but
it is still not clear in my fuzzy head.
Could a dear Cutie put it all together for me? All the wheels have fallen off and I am in a muddle!!
Thanking you all kindly for time and patience

I also use pes format. I have Custom Works which can do basic stuff. Many of the people I know who have Babylock machines use Master Works. Neither are ever mentioned here. I don't know why. I am not interested in digitizing (I am computer stupid) so I can't compare the different programs. Are you able to go to several dealers and test drive their software?

I don't know about the Eos, but someone mentioned yesterday the wingssystem.com had something easy to use. I thought about it, but I'm just as confused as you are. hehehe...I don't have Wilcom, but do have Pulse (thought about buying it for digitizing), I'm borrowing my daughters PED, but without actually reading the "manual" in my hand, it is a hit and miss with me. I tried Embird, but didn't take advantage of it. I might try it again, maybe that will help me make up my mind on a digitizer. hummm. Thanks for posting this, it might have cleared my boggled mind up a little more. hehehehe.

I have Pe-Design and can digitize.Ive seen someone demonstrate the WINGS and was shown how easy to use. click on one area colour, can change the stitches in that tiny patch. There is a free trial version. But this is what is getting me confused the shortcuts on my desktop are beginning to look like my sewing room !!:)
Thanks very much

Wilcom Truesizer and Pulse Ambassador are very limited free programs, suitable for beginners, you can resize, mirror image, reformat and rotate designs with Wilcom and you can create your own colour palette, change colours of designs and reformat with Pulse.
I'm not familiar with Eos.

When you are serious about editing designs or digitising your own, you are ready for grown up programs like Embird or PE Design, (not PE design Light, which is a very basic communication program though it may do other things such as re-size, rotate, mirror image, I haven't used it much except to, occasionally, transfer designs to the Brother card.)

For my money it is Embird all the way. "Scrap the rest and stick with the best."
