Yesterday asked about MC11000, I can download designs but can't get my machine to recognize them from my new hispeed internet laptop & vista software? Any suggestions short of calling Cus Support?

I would love to be able to help you but I really don't understand what you are trying to do. I have the MC11000,hi-speed internet and vista. I download the normal way and transfer to my machine, either by flash drive or directly from my laptop. I normally use the flash drive as I have the design saved on my hard drive. Wish I could help you more. Carol

Thanks, I called Janome and spent 3 hours on the phone with a tech who got on my machine but only downloaded Janome designs, after I hung up and tried to download other designs my machine doesn't pull up the design. How exactly to you transfer the design to your flash drive? Maybe I'm missing a step. My thanks for any help you'd like to offer.

Check for the updates to your software on Janome.com. I have a brand new pc with Windows 7 & a Janome MC10001 & could not transfer designs to my machine either. After checking with my pc guy I called my Janome dealer only to find out that there is NO software support for my machine so I'll have to invest on a digitizer. While trying to upgrade the driver for customizer 10000 I did notice that it does support Vista (but not Windows 7). You might want to check it out before you do anything else. Maria

HI, have you check with Janome Tech support about your Windows 7? I think they now have something to upgrade so you can use. I spent 3 hours with a tech but still can't download so guess I'll buy a used laptop with XP so I can continue downloading designs!
