I have Embird for 6 years and I love it, first bought the basic, and recently I bought Studio, I would like to learn how to digitize, The tutorial video does not have sound, there is nothing wrong with your pc. The iconizer works in vista but I have heard problem with Window 7, THis company is very serious with their job, i remember Vista had problems too, but now it is ok, I would think that the same will be for Window 7THere are some Embird Yahoo groups always willing to help.
267141. I did not get Iconiser to work under Vista, but enjoyed it under XP. Have a look in the FAQ page of Embird. Anyway, the new upgrade is expected soon and I think that has the problem solved.
2. I don't remember if there was sound on the videos

on your embird icon on the desktop..
right click..
then click on compatibility.
select windows xp..
then your iconizer will work..
there are restrictions on all of Embird during the trial period..
I had embird 2004 then I upgraded to
embird 2010 and love it..
learning all the time and having fun :-)

I have tried running in compatibility mode but still no icons :( I'm begining to wonder if I have downloaded it correctly. Still learning about windows 7

168893There is a problem with the icons in Embird in the newest version when you use windows 7 34 bits. They are busy to work for a solution and there is a Beta version that shows icons. I cannot remember how the sound was with the tutorials in the demo. Good luck playing around it is a good programm.

I downloaded the Beta version (I think)because I am using Windows 7, though it is the 32 bit version not the 64. I thought that would get round this particular problem.
