What should I do? My Pfaff2140 has been to the repair man. Took a month and 350 Aussie dollars to fix but still is not right.

Did you have it shipped back to you by road or air, or did you go to pick it up yourself? The machine might have been treated roughly if it was flown back to you or even sent by courier.
Where do you live in SA?
I'm 440Km from Adelaide and my Husqvarna dealer but probably in the wrong direction to give you much help.
Is the repair man a qualified Pfaff mechanic?
Have you contacted the repair man yet and if so what was his response?
Being without a machine is awful especially when you are so far from help.

Vickiannette, please let us know what they say - of coarse they will want you to bring it back in - hopefully not for another month - but at least fix it so you can use it. Good luck.

Vicki, I hope you have taken everyone's advise and called them up to let them know that the machine isn't working. Did you try it before you brought it home? Be sure to do that before you travel your distance. Hope you find what is wrong and can get it fixed soon. Terre

thankyou for all your answers, yes I will ring. I live 700kilometers from the city so makes things very difficult-can't just "pop" in to talk to them.

If you don't get results from the repairman, I would suggest that you seek help from your dealer and even writinjg to the Pfaff company might help--either of thesemay be aware of some problem that the reapirman has not recognized. Good luck, it's hard to be withour our machines!!

Contact the repairman as quick as possible and tell him that the machine is not good after the repair and spending the 350 Aussie dollars, it's a lot of money spend for a machine that doesn't do it's work proper

Nanniesara is right. Waste no time in calling the repair man to say it is not fixed.

I would contact them and tell them that is is not working right still, after paying that much money it should be fixed.
