Sessions are every few weeks. The website currently shows 4, 3 of which have already occurred. You don't have to have seen the other 3 as each class generally focusses on a specific subject e.g. fill types, stitch density etc. The classes are going to continue and more will be posted in the future. It is great for beginners and a good review for intermediate digitizers. The instructor is amazing. He has been digitizing professionally since 1984 and has a family owned digitizing company. I will post design site in a separate post for freebie designs. If you sign up for the next session, Aug 18, 2010 - Digitalk 2c, make sure you connect about 20 minutes earlier. If you have never participated in a webinar in the past that uses the Citrix webinar softwar, you will need to install some citrix software on your end to be able to view and hear the webinar. The info about the software etc is emailed to you immediately after you sign up. Don't worry about this software e.g. virus. It is the industry standard operating software that the person hosting the webinar uses to design/run their sessions. You also need the "viewers" software on your computer. It says you need a microphone and headset. Don't go out and buy one. You can just use your speakers on your computer. The webinar has the capability to allow 2 way conversation with the instructor, but these webinars are not set up this way. The instructor is teaching and while he is speaking you see his computer screen - watching him do the various digitizing features. I can't say enough about these sessions - they are awesome and free. And as a disclaimer, I had never met or know the instructor nor any of his employees. I just came across his website one day while surfing the web.
One the link that I am going to send, scroll down to the bottom to the sessions, and you will see the next one DigiTalk 2c.
So as I have yet to figure out how to put the link into the ask a question on the first attempt, I am going to hit the ask button and then go back into my question and edit it with the link, so stay tuned..
