I know your prayers have given me strength and I felt lifted by your kindness and encouragement. My brother, a Baptist Minister, left SA yesterday to return to his family in Scotland. It was wonderful having him at my side. I showed him all your kind words and he was suitably encouraged and grateful to you all for supporting me so wonderfully. Today, my first day alone, I decided to knuckle down to housework and try to carry on as normal once more!! My friends have been so helpful and caring. Now I have the legal issues to deal with and that is yet another unpleasant hill to climb. But one thing I know for sure the Cutie Community will always be there. Lots of hugs and blessings to you all.

I am so glad to see your update. Just take 1 day at a time and be patient with yourself. We don't heal overnight when we are grieving. Keep treasuring the good and give the bad times over to our Lord and Savior. And we are right here with you any time you need us.

Deb,
I can only imagine what you must be going through! :( SO SAD for you! I had tears going down my face for the whole time reading your story.
Hopefully all the thoughts and prayers have felt like hugs through your pc screen. Here's another HUG!!!!!!
Take care of yourself!

It is so hard to let go of our loved ones, and especially those who nurtured and gave love. Remember all the tender memories you gathered, the sweet moments you lived, and the good and happy times you shared. One day soon your life will brighten again.

Deb, I am so glad thatyou found the comfort and support from the CUTE family and so happy to hear that you shared that with your brother, too. It is wonderful - how other's see us - as when my Mother was in the nursing home and she would talk about her CUTE family - it took some of them a very long time - to finally realize - that the CUTE family was a group of people across the world that she had never met - that loved and cared for her - that prayed for her and sent her cards and angels and hearts - what a great big loving family we all have - I too am grateful for all that this group of people have done for one and the other and so happy to hear - that it helped you through this time of need - I do hope that you will allow us to help you through the next little while, too. We will be here for you - just allow us to be. *4U Shirlene

My prayers continue to be with you, Deb. I hope your day was one that you could at least start a smile. I know that your smile will return and you will dwell on the precious memories that have been given you by those you love.

Deb, so glad that you are doing better and encouraged by your family. I want to share my devotional with you that I had this morning. (Shirlene can vouch for me cause she has the same one. LOL) This is Christ speaking: "Hold My Hand, and walk joyously with Me through this day. together we will savor the pleasures and endure the difficulties it brings... I know every step of the journey ahead of you, all the way to heaven." What an awesome thought that we do not have to go through this alone, but we have someone much greater who has been through this also and can rely on Him to help us through each step of the way. Stay strong and you will always have we cuties that will be praying for you...Terre

Thank you very much for these beautiful words Terre. My brother reminded me that although I thought I walked alone yesterday, I must remember that Christ is with me so I am not truly alone, and I should lean on HIM for support when I am weak. Hugs
