She does a beautiful job on her designs.....I haven't stitched any out yet but I need to give them a try...my machine doesn't always like thin lettering.....I've been doing my Bible verses with my Janome customizer and it take me so long....I definetly need to try sewbirds.

I stitched out one of them today and the thin letters work great, just like a RW or BW. They are beautiful.

I found these a very long time ago and I love them. They make wonderful gifts for alot of different reasons! I had thought about making some and carrying them to the hospital and letting them do with them as they wanted. That is something I need to follow up on! I have never done any FSL (I know)and I have also found an Angel that I would love to try. It is on Susan Jacobi's site as a free design. Sunni sent me one of them from Missouri when my son had his Heart Attack and my DIL's sister went back in the hospital dying from her second bout with cancer and I in turn passed it on to Her! She passed away the week after my son got out of the hospital. I wrote Sunni and thanked her and told her what I had done with it. I have wanted to make one since then but have not tried. That has been almost 17 months ago. I think that will be my second project. My great grand son turns 2 on Sunday so I have got to do something for him first.
Sunni also sent me several pocket Angels and I keep 2 of them sitting right here by my computer because this is where I spend most of my time. I shared the rest of them with my DIL's family when Pat passed away. Sunni's Angels gave some comfort to several of us! Thes bible verses do the same thing in times of need!

Linda, what a sweet gesture. I'm sure that angel gave much comfort to both family members. God sends us angels in many forms. I haven't tried FSL either, that is on my list of things, but not a priority right now. hehehe. I'm actually making a soft counting book for my DIL who teaches Kindergarten.:)

I'm sure the ladies each cherished them. I'm going to have to do some in frames I think for my parents for Christmas. Thanks for the idea. Many have mentioned them in frames, but it never clicked. hehehe.

I have used these also. A joke on me is that I made 2 fleece pillows for the sofa in our 5th wheel camper, Well, I made them last fall after camping was over, and the first I went in the camper this spring, I looked at them and asked my DH who did these, they are beautiful, He said You did my love!!! I had forgotten I had done them, but they were sure beautiful! Pillows measeued 20x20" and 4 of her verses fit nicely arranged on the front! I am so pleased with them.

Your friends are going to get some nice gifts.....I wasn't a Christian for a long time but I am now and my life is so much better....Janet

keeponsewing by keeponsewing 30 Jul 2010

Janet, thank you for sharing this. Stay faithful to Him. Many don't understand the change He puts in your heart. But He does. He knows your thoughts before you even think them. It's amazing to think of how much grace God gives. Keep focused on Him.

I posted John 3:16 in projects a few weeks ago. They are very nice designs. I framed mine and gave it to my aunt who is battling cancer. She loved it. I hope to make some of them for myself.

Was that where you got that from. I remember the project. It was beautiful...I'm making a quilt for my pastor and his wife for Pastor Appreciation Day in Oct. So I have a little bit of time. Right now I have 3 quilts going on at the same time. hehehe.

rwalden by rwalden 29 Jul 2010

What a nice gift that will make. I hope you post it whenever you finish. Three quilts...wow you are busy. I can't get motived enough to do one. I'm too busy with canning and freezing garden veggies.

keeponsewing by keeponsewing 29 Jul 2010

Two of them don't have to be finished until Christmas, which gives me some time. LOL

Margie here is the other. I think it is in the RAR file. You will need to change that to a zip. Once you click on the image then count across to the 6th blue block and that should d/l for you.
