I just bought a design which requires wonder under. (fusable webbing) my experience in the past has been horrible..It gums up the needle and stitching is a nightmare..Any insight using this product would help..TIA

I found the perfect iron on adhesive for in the hoop projects.. I just finished making the click it bookmarks using this HeatnBond..It is designed for machine appliques and I didn't have any trouble embroidering on it..Just wanted to share this with the family.. I uploaded a pic of the bookmark in the projects section..Enjoy! and thanks for all the info...*2all

Hi Kathy, I've never used wonderunder for embroidery, but I was told once that the gum from the glue adheres to the needle, so I've never used it for anything but none sewing projects. Or hand work. I do know there are different types, so you might want to see if there is one for sewing projects.

Are you saying you iron the wonder under to your fabric to be appliqued and then use it the normal way? Sounds like a good idea. I've not done a lot of applique because I didn't think it would hold up to washing.
